This Privacy Policy is intended to define your rights and answer any questions you may have regarding your personal data. Our policy and procedures for the processing of personal information have been developed in line with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (applicable from 25 May 2018) and applicable national regulations (Legislative Decree 101/2018 which amended Legislative Decree 196/2003).
1. What information do we collect?
As a rule, our activities are based on relationships between business entities. However, this does not exclude the possibility of collecting personal identification data, such as company references for the execution of orders, rather than personal data relating to reports or requests sent through the dedicated pages of the company website www.caronaed.it.
In these cases, the personal data we process may include:
– the first and last name
– your residential or business address, e-mail address and/or telephone number;
– your professional title;
– information relating to the browser or device used to access the company’s website;
– your internet browser and operating system;
– other information you provide to us.
In any case, based on the purpose for which the data is collected, the Data Controller will take care to collect and process only the personal information necessary to achieve the individual purposes for which the data is collected.
2. How do we use this information and what is the legal basis for its use?
We process the personal data specified in paragraph 1 for the purposes explained in the collection form on our website, i.e. to be able to contact you and answer any questions you may send us by filling in the above-mentioned form. No other use is envisaged for the data collected in this way.
3. With whom and where will we share your personal information?
We may share your personal information with our subsidiaries in order to process it and to enable administration activities within the group and to provide products or services where some elements of the products or services are provided by companies within the group other than the company you have contacted directly. We may also share your personal information with the third parties listed below:
our professional advisers such as auditors, accountants, legal and financial advisers;
marketing and communications agencies that have agreed to process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy;

our suppliers, business partners and subcontractors; and/or

4. How long will my personal data be kept?
We will not retain your personal information longer than necessary, whatever the purpose, and will only retain personal information necessary for that purpose. In addition, we are required to retain certain information as required by law and for as long as is reasonably necessary to comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and implement our terms and conditions. Given that the data collected is for the purpose of a subsequent contact in order to respond to your possible request, where such contact is intended to be conclusive of your relationship with Caron A&D S.r.l. and does not involve subsequent contact of a commercial nature, your data will be processed only for the time necessary to provide you with the requested response and will be deleted within 6 months from the date of last processing. Data connected to the execution of existing commercial contracts, including data relating to invoicing, payments, and any other duties of an administrative and/or fiscal nature, will be stored on the basis of the tax regulations in force at the time.
5. Where is my data stored?
The personal data concerning you are stored on the computer systems in use at the Data Controller’s offices, and at the operating offices of the providers the Data Controller uses for certain services, such as the company’s Internet portal. In either case, these systems are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). Such data may be transferred and stored outside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’) and be processed by staff outside the EEA acting on behalf of the company or one of its suppliers, in which case the European Commission must have approved the third country’s data protection legislation or other appropriate protection measures must be in place. 6. What are my rights in relation to my personal data?
Where the purposes of the processing so require, you have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for commercial purposes: you may exercise your rights to prevent such processing by ticking certain boxes on the forms on which we collect your data, or by selecting the ‘unsubscribe’ button on any communication we send you, or by contacting the company. If you have given your consent for the Company to use your personal data, you may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying us by e-mail to privacy@caronaed.it. If the information the company holds about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may notify us and ask us to correct or amend it. You also have the right, with certain exceptions and qualifications, to ask us to provide you with a copy of the personal data that the company holds about you. In the event that you have provided us with your data and such data is processed by automated means, you may request that such data be provided to you in a structured, computer-readable format. If you wish to make a complaint about the way we have processed your personal data, you may have the opportunity to ask us to restrict its use until such complaint is resolved. In certain circumstances, you may request the deletion of your personal information (a) if you withdraw your consent for the Company to use such information; (b) if it is no longer necessary for the Company to use your personal information; (c) if you object to the use of your personal information and the Company has no valid reason to continue to use it; or (d) if we have not handled your personal information in accordance with our obligations.
